Terroir-saurus Rex - A Dino Day Tasting
Big flavors, old soil, roaring fun!

Travel back in time, WAY BACK- without ever leaving your barstool. Terroir-saurus Rex is a dino-day wine adventure that digs into ancient soils, fossil-rich vineyards, and the wild idea that what’s under our feet shapes what’s in our glass.

We’ll explore how terroir (that fancy word for place, soil, and climate) leaves its imprint on flavor, all while keeping things fun, approachable, and totally non-extinct. Expect a little science, a little storytelling, and zero pop quizzes, well, unless “Which one do you like best?” counts.

Guests will enjoy five 3 oz pours paired with light snacks, each chosen to highlight how different landscapes leave their mark on the wines. You bring the curiosity, and we’ll bring the Jurassic-sized personality in the glass.

Roaring is optional but encouraged. 

FUN FACT: Jill Weber, who is leading the tasting, is an Archeologist, the Owner of Jet Wine Bar, and an honorary member of the Philly Roller Derby! Jill’s derby name is Jurassic Cork.
